Winding Stair Gardens, Franklin, NC – We’re an independent native plant nursery and garden center in the southern Appalachian Mountains, specializing in regionally appropriate native plants including trees, shrubs, perennials, and ferns well-suited to western North Carolina and the broader mountain South. Our nursery manager, Greg Mason, is a landscape architect with a strong focus on ecological planting, and helping our customers create habitat for birds, pollinators, and wildlife is very much at the heart of what we do.
