Audubon Naturalist Training

Audubon Naturalist Training: The Audubon Naturalist Training Program offers 85 hours of classroom and field training. We bring in field experts to teach classes on: Ecosystems, Ecology, Geology, Plants, Insects, Reptiles, Amphibians, Bird & Raptor Identification, Mammals and Interpretive Guide Techniques. This training prepares people of all experience levels to become naturalists for our public and/or school environmental education programs.

Certified Native Plant Master

Certified Native Plant Master–For those wanting to deepen their knowledge, take a NPM curriculum course to learn fascinating facts about Colorado plants during three sessions along the trails of a local natural area. Learn more about how to use natives in your garden and protect against invasive alien weeds. Sharpen your plant identification skills by using a botanical key and become comfortable with plant families and scientific names

The San Juan/Four Corners Native Plant Society

The San Juan/Four Corners Native Plant Society explores, preserves, and enjoys the flora of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We roam the area within 150 miles of the Four Corners. Our trips take us to the lands surrounding the San Juan River of Colorado and New Mexico, to the Navajo Reservation of New Mexico and Arizona, to Utah’s Canyon Country, to the San Juan National Forest and Canyons of the Ancients National Monument of Colorado, and to many other beautiful areas in the Four Corners, Colorado Plateau, region.
