Vermont Invasives

Vermont Invasives–In Vermont, we are fortunate to have many organizations that offer information and resources on the threat of, identification of and management of invasives. This website provides a landing page for Vermonters interested in learning more about invasive insects, plants and pathogens. In addition, the website is designed to guide visitors to the appropriate place to learn more and become involved in various monitoring, management and outreach efforts. Smart Waterways

Smart Waterways–The Chittenden County Regional Stormwater Education Program (RSEP) was formed in 2003 to encourage area residents to get personally involved in reducing storm water pollution in Lake Champlain. The effort is conducted as part of public education measures required by federal Environmental Protection Agency storm water system permits. See the recommended native plants for rain gardens.
